Job Description

On behalf of our Client, We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Business Analyst with Project Management experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Your expertise in both business analysis and project management will be crucial in driving the success of our IT initiatives. This is a contract-to-hire position; for a successful candidate, there is a possibility of a full-time hire.

Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Translate these requirements
into functional specifications and technical requirements for IT projects in Jira.
- Manage Development Lifecycle: Plan and oversee iterative cycles of development work, with effective communication and reporting processes in Jira.
- Ensure technical dependencies are identified and addressed. Plan and coordinate release plan including back-out/rollback plan, staging pilot test, executing full deployment of production release, and release communication to stakeholders.
- Testing and Validation: Coordinate and conduct system testing and validation.
- Ensure that IT solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects from inception to completion. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors. Facilitate effective communication and ensure that
stakeholders are informed of project status, changes, and milestones.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes. Develop user manuals and training materials as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business analysis and project
management within the IT sector.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
and tools (e.g. JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work
effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools and use case modeling.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT infrastructure.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
